Comfort Control Inc. Offer Homeowners Tax Savings
On Energy Efficient Heating and Cooling Equipment
Comfort Control Inc. and the recent government stimulus package can help homeowners save 30% of the cost and installation of a new high efficiency heating and cooling system.
When the American Recovery and Revitalization Act of 2010 was passed by the U.S. Congress, it gave homeowners a significant tax incentive to make improvements to the overall energy efficiency of their homes, including heating and cooling systems.
“Everyone can use a tax break,” So now is the time to install higher efficiency appliances and upgrade your heating and air conditioning system. The tax credits will help homeowners offset the up front investment and shorten their payback period.”
The new law will allow homeowners to claim 30% of the costs (up to a $1,500 limit) for the installation of higher efficiency HVAC systems in the tax years 2009 and 2010. The previous tax credits were limited to only $300 for heat pumps.
Qualifying heating and cooling equipment under this stimulus package must meet certain efficiency ratings established by the U.S. Department of Energy. For example, Comfort Control Inc. sells Everrest by Amana products that exceed the qualifying Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER), Energy Efficiency Ratings (EER) and Heating Seasonal Performance Factor (HSPF).
We have a ware house full of 16 seer Heat Pumps, AC’s and 95% AFUE furnaces to choose from. They not only guarantee you benefit from the tax credit but also will heat or cool your house all year round for a fraction of the cost of the old system.
